This Privacy Policy explains how Future Guide (“we”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and the Future Guide mobile app for parents, students, staff, and drivers.

1. Information we collect

• Account details: name, email / login ID, phone number, school affiliation, role (parent, student, staff, driver).
• School records: student profile, attendance, homework, exams/marks, fees status, notices, and related school data provided by the school.
• Transport / location: when Live Bus GPS is enabled, approximate device location during active trips so parents can track the bus and drivers can run trips.
• Payments: fee payment status and transaction references processed via payment gateways (e.g. Razorpay). We do not store full card numbers.
• Device & usage: device identifiers, app version, crash/diagnostics, and push notification tokens (e.g. Firebase) when enabled by the school.

2. How we use information

• To operate school services in the app (academics, fees, transport, notices, chat where enabled).
• To authenticate users and keep accounts secure.
• To process school fee payments as a real-world school service.
• To send school-related notifications when configured.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the Service.

3. Sharing

We share data with the school that administers your account, and with processors that help us run the Service (hosting, maps, push notifications, payment gateways), under appropriate agreements. We do not sell personal information.

4. Retention & security

Data is retained while your school account is active and as required for school/legal records. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and industry-standard safeguards for data at rest where applicable.

5. Children’s privacy

Future Guide is a school utility for adult parents, staff, and drivers. Student information is managed under the school’s authority. The app is not directed at children for independent Play Store use.

6. Account deletion

Parents and staff may request account deletion via the school office or by contacting us at the email below. Schools can also deactivate accounts from the school console. Deletion removes or anonymises app login access; statutory school records may be retained by the school as required by law.

7. Your choices

• Location can be limited by OS permissions; bus tracking needs location while trips run.
• Push notifications can be disabled in device settings.
